In October, James G. Parker Insurance Associates sponsored their 10th annual fund raising drive benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The Susan G. Komen Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer and ensuring quality care for all. James G Parker Insurance Associates is proud of the participation and generosity of their employees in supporting this extremely important cause.

This year’s donation of $1,300.00 brings total contributions to date of $15,758.00. The agency owners remain committed to this worthy cause and look forward to next year’s event.

Congratulations to our Hanford office for receiving not one but two Sentinel Reader’s Choice Awards for 2011. Bacome Insurance is rated “Best Insurance Agency” and Danny Todd received honors as the “Best Insurance Agent”. Way to go Hanford!

Representatives from James G. Parker Insurance and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company presented a check for $12,087 to Sandra Yovino, director of burn services at the Leon S. Peters Burn Center at Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno.

The grant will be used to create a public service campaign in English and Spanish to enhance the center’s burn prevention education program and to purchase educational materials. The materials will be distributed in the nine counties served by Community Regional’s burn center – the only comprehensive burn center from Los Angeles to Sacramento.
